Signal Analysis - General Statistics

Description

Some of the signal structure and quality parameters are calculated and presented by the Receiver in numerical format. Those parameters are referred as Signal Statistics and available under Statistics Icon on the WEB UI main page.

The reported parameters depend on the Broadcast standard. A common set of the reported parameters usually includes:

  • Input RF power, dBm
  • Frequency offset and Sample Rate shift
  • Spectral Shoulder attenuation
  • Residual Group Delay
  • Etc.
An important set of measurements presented under General Statistics includes Spectral output table containing values of Signal attenuation calculated at predefined offsets. Though the Receiver does spectral measurement based on a default emission mask defined in the correspondent broadcast standard, a user can change the pre-set emission mask points. The emission mask – required frequency offsets and attenuations – along with the calculated Spectral output can be found in Emission section on Statistics page.
