Upgrade Instructions
AVQ200, AVQ1020(2nd Gen), AVQ1022(1st and 2nd Gen)
Upgrade Instructions:
- If your SLA license is expired, start with uploading a new valid license. Using Control Panel -> System -> Upgrade, upload *.lic file provided by Avateq. Restart the unit when prompted.
IMPORTANT! If you are upgrading AVQ1022 (1st Gen) and your current Build rev. is earlier that 13561, please contact us at support@avateq.com for additional instructions.
- Upload a proper firmware image *.img file (please, refer to FIRMWARE RELEASES for links) and Restart the unit when prompted.
- Verify the new upgrade Build revision in the bottom section Serial Numbers and Versions of the Status page.
IMPORTANT!
- Each upgrade stage can take up to 5 minutes to restart
- Press Ctrl-R or Ctrl-F5 in the browser to reload web GUI with the latest JavaScript files.
AVQ1020(1st Gen)
Upgrade Instructions:
- Using Control Panel -> System -> Upload, upload uImage.web file. Wait for the message in the pop-up window to restart the unit. Close the pop-up window and reboot the system - Control Panel -> System -> System Restart. Set System Restart switch to On and click Submit. Wait for the system to reboot (about 60-90 sec).
- Repeat Step 1 for rootfs.web file.
- If the license is expired or the broadcast standards in Control Panel -> System -> Licensed Standards are not accessible, request a new license through Avateq Support or send an email directly to support@avateq.com. Once available, repeat Step 1 for avqlicense.dat file. After the unit is rebooted, select a broadcast standard to monitor through Control Panel -> System -> Licensed Standards page.
- Verify the new upgrade revision in the bottom section Serial Numbers and Versions of the Status page.
