On October 3rd, National Association of Broadcasters and America's Public Television Stations submitted a petition regarding the expansion of single-frequency networks (SFNs) in relation to ATSC 3.0 deployment across the United States.
"The petition requests the FCC approve the core transmission technology for the new standard as an option for local broadcasters and receiver manufacturers."
The event was hosted by One Media and allowed manufacturers to test ATSC3.0 equipment.
