Markham, Ontario - July 19, 2019 - This year at NAB2019, Avateq presented a new generation of AVQ1020 - ActiveCore RF Layer Monitoring Receiver. The product has undergone fundamental changes at hardware and software levels and now represents a faster and more capable monitoring device with new tools and support for new standards, including ATSC 3.0. Thus, we would like to inform you that the first generation of AVQ1020 will enter EOL (End-of-Life) on August 1, 2019, culminating its life cycle.
When first introduced in 2012, AVQ1020 offered a new way of transmitter site monitoring with its unattended operation, high-quality measurements, and easy accessibility. AVQ1020 2nd GEN expands the same core functionality and becomes the foundation for new exciting services in the future. We would like to thank all our customers and partners for your continuing commitment to our brand and trust in Avateq products.
As a special promotion for our existing customers, for a limited time, we will offer a complete hardware upgrade of your existing equipment to the 2nd GEN model. This program is carried out by Avateq's technical support. For clients with active Service-Level Agreement, the labor cost will be covered by the plan.
