Choose Right Tools for the Job - ATSC3.0 In-Depth Signal Analysis and Monitoring

We would like to extend an invitation to visit the Avateq Corp. booth W3452 at the upcoming NAB Show. On its 100th anniversary, the NAB Show remains to be the perfect opportunity to learn about the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in the industry.

This year, Avateq will demonstrate the results of our Research and Development projects that enable the transition to the next generation of broadcasting and datacasting.

STLTP Analyzer. The NextGen TV is all about and a Studio-to-Transmitter Link Transport protocol (STLTP) is as important as RF characteristics of the signal on-air. The popularity of Avateq's AVQ1022 RF Signal Analyzer with STLTP monitoring functionality has lef to the development of a standalone system for STLTP analysis. A PC-based STLTP analyzer will be introduced for the first time.

ATSC 3.0 MIMO Receiver. Looking into the future of ATSC 3.0 broadcast and the need for more efficiency in spectrum utilization, Avateq has developed an ATSC 3.0 MIMO receiver and signal analyzer. Utilizing 2x2 MIMO scheme the system is capable of receiving two independent steams, re-assembling the signal an outputting it for further processing/displaying.

ATSC 3.0 Modulation and Code Rate Adaptive Estimator. Avateq's ActiveCore engine is a unique processing platform that not only provides high quality signal measurement and monitoring functionality but is a powerful analytical system to adaptively control parameters of signal generation and modulation. In cooperation with our industry partners, Avateq successfully tested a Modulation and Code Rate Adaptive Estimator for dynamically controlling ATSC 3.0 schedulers to maintain maximum spectral efficiency when signal propagation conditions are changing.

Ultra-Long-Range Wireless Backhaul (ULRWB). ATSC 3.0-based ULRWB system is being developed in collaboration with Humber College's Broadcast-Broadband Convergence B2C Lab (http://b2convergence.ca). This point-to-point communication infrastructure with Tx/Rx stations located over 60 miles (100km) will allow bringing high-speed Internet to rural and remote areas.

As a leading provider of advanced broadcast equipment and solutions, we understand the challenges and opportunities facing broadcasters today. Our team of experts will be ready to answer your questions, discuss any technical requirements, and provide you with a hands-on demonstration of our products.
