Avateq's solution based on ATSC3.0 signal has been chosen for PHASE1 of the Ultra-Long-Range Wireless Backhaul intended to serve remote communities.
Avateq Corp. has been awarded a grant from the Government of Canada under the Innovation, Science and Economic Development's (ISED) Spectrum and Telecommunications Sector (STS) to seek a technical solution to increase the achievable tower-to-tower distance in wireless terrestrial backhaul links, reducing the number of wireless hops required to reach remote communities - to enable new multi-hop paths based on locations where power and road access are available to service communications towers.
Avateq Corp. develops and manufactures products that solve complex engineering tasks. We are excited to be among the distinguished group of companies and be a part of the PHASE1 of the Ultra-Long-Range Wireless Backhaul development, to solve today's challenge and to address tomorrow's technological advancements.
